It seems to me that modern forensic psychology and psychiatry have a very poor understanding of human nature. Most criminal behavior can be corrected, only our criminal justice system seems to employ Pavlovian behavior modification and BF Skinner opperant conditioning to reward criminal behavior and decept, and punish law-abiding behavior and honesty. Our prisons teach inmates to survive the strong must prey on the weak. Each person must take the law into their own hands because the system is corrupt and counterproductive. That nobody can be trusted. That cooperation is futile. That resistance is honorable. That society endorses vigilante justice. That everyone must judge others. You must make others pay for not showing you respect. One hand washes the other. Brawn and brute force supercedes intelligence and moral integrity.
