One of the most interesting subjects I ever met is the fact that psychedelics have the potential to help with addiction. For me this statement has a lot of sense because the mechanism of action of psychedelics involves rewiring the basic neuronal connections, the standard patterns from our brain. By doing this, psychedelics give the brain a whole new ocean of possibilities - in a safe setting, with the propitious guidance, the brain can be taught healthier habits much more easily.

“Several trials show dramatic results: in a study published in November 2020, for example, 71% of people who took psilocybin for major depressive disorder showed a greater than 50% reduction in symptoms after four weeks, and half of the participants entered remission1. Some follow-up studies after therapy, although small, have shown lasting benefits.”
Yes, I've heard about psychedelics helping people with PTSD. However, I don't think there's enough research done about this, can anyone attach a study on this subject?
