The only auras that I believe are those associated with epilepsy and are those that preempt a seziure - the smell of burning rubber, intense deja vu, etc. The name given to these phenomena is called auras.
But as Ayesha stipulates the auras you are discussing would be something akin to energy fields - but one thing that marks this out as pseudoscience is poorly defined concepts. As Ayesha describes it - science could probably easily test for energy fields if we were to give 'energy' at least some form of solid definition. But to anyone who believes in the concept of auras - the negation of evidence poses no problems.
That is not to suggest however that negative personality traits cannot be discerned by another individual. Especially by individuals with a certain knowledge of human behavior, and an insight into human psychology. But this insight is won through hard work
As an interesting side-note: It's not a far grasp that perhaps the idea of auras has arisen due to the neuropsychological condition known as synaesthesia where an individual may see numbers imbued with color or describe them in such language as in 'the number is blue'. From these individuals, it wouldn't be a huge step to generate the pseudoscience of generalized auras.
Here it may very well be that some individuals ascribe a hue to an individual as some synaesthetes do for numbers or shapes - but to then ascribe this same color to a list of personality traits would be to move beyond the evidence and would need testing.
