Roe vs Wade

Roe vs Wade is a historical case of America. In which supreme Court ordered pregnant women have autonomy over their bodies and government won't put restrictions on it, if they want abortion.

But now, Supreme Court is trying to overturn roe vs Wade. My question is that, what will it's impact on women mental health?

The APA has made its position quite clear, and their research suggests that there are a number of mental health issues when women are denied a right to choose.

The outlines are as follows:

Women who are denied an abortion are more likely to initially experience higher levels of anxiety, lower life satisfaction, and lower self-esteem compared with women who received an abortion.

Experiencing unwanted pregnancies appears to be strongly associated with poor mental health effects for women later in life.

@ayesha naymat I wouldn't dare try and predict, my personal hope is that we won't deny women the right to choose what is right for themselves and their bodies. This is a great post to get us thinking about the possible mental health issues arising from policy and how it's made.
