While factors may not 'predict' the likelihood of a child becoming a serial killer, there exists the 'triad' which may indicate the development of various psychopathologies.
The Macdonald triad includes:
CTA - Cruelty to Animals
Persistent bedwetting past a certain age
Obsession with fire-setting
These were first noted by a psychiatrist in 1963.
These are not necessarily predicative of future serialkilling but violence and violent tendencies.
Of course one would also have to assess what the home life is like as CTA may appear in instances of abuse - and may be reactionary to frustration rather than an innate developing psychopathy.
