Wow! Thank you for sharing this. I have learned so much from reading.
I have certainly worked with many individuals for which this is true. There is nothing about their minds or brains which impairs their capacity to recognize harm to others or right/wrong. It simply does not have the same impact or significance to them that it does to many others.
I think what this means, in other words, is that they have a good understanding of what is morally acceptable but they don’t care because all those rules don’t really make any logical sense to them. That‘s probably because they are not bound by emotions. They probably don’t have a conscience either.
Yup. That's what sets them apart from other mentally ill individuals who actually don't know what they're doing, or they're not aware of the fact that what they're doing is wrong. Psychopaths are calculating.
