Sleep definitely helps! 😁 Me personally, I often notice myself getting stressed when I'm overwhelmed. So, what works for me is asking myself what's on my priority list and cutting of some of the less urgent stuff I need to do. Watching some good movies or listening to music helps aswell. Lately I've been getting into yoga and found it really beneficial in reducing stress.
As for me, I watch variety shows, have mindfulness meditations, and pray.
Any process that is primarily for myself helps. This taking time for myself though, indirectly helps others when I'm at my most calm and chilled.
1. Reading is one of my biggest habits and maintains a sense of calm.
2. Mindfulness meditation helps me understand the stresses I'm under and aids me in staying grounded.
3. I love music, fairly ecclectic mix. Much of what I listen to will depend on what I'm feeling at any given time.
A walk (mindful) in the manner Thich Nhat Hanh suggests is also very useful.

How about you?
As for me, the most effective strategy is sleep. 😁😁
